This Vent Filter, redesigned for seamless integration, provides improved protection of stored pure water against airborne contaminants such as CO₂, organic compounds, particles and micro-organisms. When the tank is emptied of water, air entering the system passes through the vent filter. This significantly reduces atmospheric, organic and ionic contaminants entering the tank and prevents internal biofilm formation, thus maintaining the quality of water of stored pure water.

The vent filter is located at the top of the storage tank for easy replacement and an easier fit in limited space.
For use with Milli-Q^® IQ 7003/05/10/15 and Milli-Q^® IX water purification systems.

To protect purified water from contaminants, the Vent Filter includes:

• Activated carbon to adsorb volatile organics.
• Soda-lime bed to remove CO₂.
• Hydrophobic membrane filter for particle and bacteria retention.
